False Prophet ---- When all was well and not destroyed Things were fine my hope employed I lost a friend and then a jewel, But I was stopped from my fal,l By a false prophet, a poppy girl, A friend a thought, to know avail So in limbo I do lie Looking for savour I, Look towards new horizons, And know one do I see ,But I'm still hear, just nobody and me, And I see I must avoid, falling deeper in this void, No false prophet do I seekTo stop me from an endless sleep---By Garteh Chappell | |||||||||||||||||||||||

SAVE OXFORD UTD FC | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Every football fan should try to help out Oxford. If the club goes under it will be a tragedy. HOw can a Division one team be in this trouble? It may seem like it is nothing to do with you but many clubs will be facing the same problems in the coming years. Already Bounmouth, Hull, Chesterfield, Portsmouth and even Southampton are facing crisis and possible bankrupcy. Many clubs in division two and three are fighting for their lives and very existance. And soon clubs like Nottingham Forrest and Charlton will go form having no money to spend, to having to sell to survive. If you support a big club this may not concern you. But think how many England internationals and players currently at top clubs have come from teams like Crew or Bornmouth.Jamie Redknap and David Platt are two examples of players who came from or learnt there trade in the lower divisions. So come on and help the lesser club as it may be your team next. |
